I've already written before about why base rates are shit and you shouldn't trust them too much if you want outlier outcomes in your own life.
But I should also not completely lose track of the fact that many of the people whose dating advice I am reading are based in US/UK/EU, and hence their base rates for number of partners are significantly higher.
I don't just mean the base rates for partner count for the general population, but also base rates (for partner count) for subpopulations you want to target, like upper-middle class women, or women who are aware of tech discourse, or women who actually want serious relationships that are not intended to placate parents, or women with behaviours appropriate for high-trust culture, or similar.
I am already instinctively aware of base rate differences in like, north versus south versus northeast India for example. There's lots of details here I can't bothered to study right now.
Parental control is by far the number one reason that predicts this, although religion and other factors play a role. I can't discuss this very directly in order to protect my own safety.
