- I think I should just cold email everyone I even somewhat respect - be it bloggers, be it EA/LW people, be it old irl contacts, and ask them for moral feedback. Give them one last chance to explain themselves. Seems important.
- The thing is, for a lot of people I do have simple disagreements like "you dont think ASI is coming" or "you are naive about how to acquire power, or how inter-elite conflicts actually work". But I still seem to respect some of these people regardless. So I should just cold email everyone just for them to try and prove me wrong one last time.
- Once I am committed to my plan, then there is no second guessing it. Hence I should invest time to get clarity upfront.
