I want moral values that I like, not values that my friends like

Main
- Atleast some of my unhappiness seems directly downstream of my own confusion regarding morality of cyberattacks. Therefore I probably will have to explore it further.
- By far the biggest mistake I can make, when trying to figure this out, is to take my irl friends' opinions on morality, or their judgements of me, too seriously.
- This is not just an abstract claim. I can make a list of atleast ten different moral intuitions I've heard from people around me that make no sense to me. I'm just not making this list here, to protect their privacy.
- Okay maybe I do need to continue exploring this, including getting more of their inputs, and making an actual list, but keeping all of this entirely in private.
- I do still need to figure out values that I actually like or atleast tolerate, in relation to this project, not in some abstract sense. I am definitely not going to be able to last 5 years disliking myself as a person.
- I need to achieve both of these objectives at the same time.
