I think more people should run these, just to see what happens. The cost is less, and the potential upside is high.
A very specific reason I used to endorse this was that there seemed to be very few people running such setups outside US geopolitical sphere of influence. I'm increasingly less convinced this is as important.
In practice it is probably true that if you're at all popular, you're more likely to receive all sorts of (false) conspiracy theories, often from people who are excessively paranoid or socially isolated or mentally ill or all three of the above.
